Grant Applications
The mission of the NCHA Foundation is to support the NCHA by educating our youth, protecting the horse, preserving our past, and securing the future of the sport of cutting.
The NCHA Foundation is pleased to review requests that fulfill the following areas of focus that define the tenets of our organization:
Youth Programs & Scholarships
Equine Welfare Projects
Historical Preservation
Continued Education of the Sport of Cutting
Contact and Deadlines
Grant requests are currently reviewed once a year. The submission deadline is presently September 1st.
All grant requests found to be within the Foundation’s areas of focus and submitted in full by the due date will be reviewed by our board of trustees. Requests submitted after 11:59 pm CST on September 1st will be placed in the next grant cycle. No late submissions will be accepted. Decisions for funding are made in September as part of the Foundation’s annual budgeting process.

Request for Proposal
Please provide the following information in your proposal:
A clear indication of the area(s) of focus you feel your request best aligns with.
A brief explanation detailing the need for funding, the benefits of funding, and the projected outcome for your request.
A description of how you will measure the success/impact of the event, program, research, etc. on your organization.
Date(s) and location of event, program, research, etc.
A budget detailing how you intend to utilize the requested grant.
